Frequently asked

  • What does my Hatch Score actually mean?

Six signals (meme, creator, image, name, social, risk) feed a weighted aggregate from 0–100. Anything ≥ 70 is green (strong), 45–69 is amber (cautious), below 45 is red (likely to rug or stall). Bands are thresholds, not grades — they map to seed-LP tier decisions.

  • Why is my score marked preliminary?

Two signals (creator wallet history via Bitquery · contract risk via GoPlus) are currently stubbed while keys are provisioned. Preliminary scores are re-weighted over live signals only and refused by the on-chain attestation pipeline. When the keys land, you can re-score for a full reading.

  • Do I need a wallet to look up a score?

  • Why would I re-score a token?

Two reasons. One, stubbed signals have since come online. Two, market signals (social, image, meme template) drift — re-scoring gives a fresh reading keyed to a new UUID, so old shares still point at the original result.

  • When do scores go on-chain?

After audit (Sprint C.6) and legal opinion (Sprint I.5), via HatchAttest on BNB Chain. Until then every score is off-chain and preliminary-flagged where applicable. The publisher refuses any row with stubbed signals regardless of env wiring.
